DAY 1

Welcome to Lithuania

Upon arrival in Vilnius, we will be met by our transfer and taken to our hotel for check-in. We have the afternoon at leisure until our welcome dinner this evening.

DAY 2

Old Town Vilnius

After breakfast, we meet our local guide in the hotel lobby for a 2.5 to 3-hour tour that introduces us to the rich history and culture of Vilnius. We’ll explore must-see landmarks in the Old Town, including Gothic and Baroque churches, Cathedral Square, the Presidential Palace, and the Jewish Quarter. Strolling through the Gates of Dawn – a medieval city gate, we’ll wander the artistic streets of Užupis. As we walk down the narrow lanes, we’ll keep an eye out for the open-air art gallery on Literatu Street and explore the city’s narrowest alleyway.

We have the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3

Trakai Town

After breakfast, we transfer from Vilnius to the charming town of Trakai, a former medieval residence of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes. Located approximately 25 km from Vilnius and surrounded by picturesque lakes, Trakai Castle is a stunning medieval fortress situated on an island in Lake Galvė. Today, we explore the meticulously restored castle, which features a museum showcasing the region’s rich history and medieval artifacts.

One of the most enchanting ways to experience the magnificent Trakai Castle, is by boat on Lake Galvė. This leisurely excursion allows us to appreciate the stunning views of the legendary castle and its picturesque surroundings.

After our tour, we enjoy a traditional Karaim lunch.
