We leave Sheffield behind after breakfast as we embark on a journey into the breathtaking Peak District, a region of rugged peaks, expansive moorlands, and picturesque stone cottages.
Our first stop is Eyam, a village with a powerful story of courage and sacrifice, where residents quarantined themselves during the 1666 plague to protect surrounding communities. After our sweet treat, we continue to Monsal Head, where a historic railway viaduct spans rolling green hills, offering a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Our next stop is the charming village of Castleton, known for its traditional English charm. Here, we wander its quaint streets, enjoy scenic valley views, and delve into local history at the information centre.
After a day of indulgent treats, striking vistas, and captivating history, we return to Sheffield in the late afternoon.

Stroll through the city’s streets and see how Sheffield’s rich past blends with its exciting future, from stunning cathedrals to the dynamic Heart of the City developments. Along the way, you’ll uncover the city’s pivotal role in political and social history, while soaking in its vibrant atmosphere, bustling shops, and peaceful green spaces.
