What’s Extra
We start our Greek adventure with three nights on the luxurious and idyllic island of Mykonos. This is amongst the top tourist destinations in the world – for good reason. Explore the flower-filled lanes and boutique shops and cafes of this most cosmopolitan and trendy of the Greek islands and enjoy the vibrant nightlife.
During our time on Mykonos, we will stay at a beautiful beachfront hotel near Platis Gialos Beach and enjoy a welcome drink at the premiere Blue Myth restaurant with its amazing sea views. This will also be where we enjoy our breakfast. When we arrive at our hotel, you can relax and join our Tour Leader for an orientation walk before we get together for a welcome dinner at the traditional Paraportiani Taverna located in the heart of Mykonos town, which serves delicious, authentic Greek cuisine.
Whilst on Mykonos, we’ll enjoy leisurely strolls amongst the windmills in Little Venice for THAT photo, check out the white-washed shop fronts of the Old Town and have the chance to check out the various beachfront cocktail bars. After that, the rest is up to you as you soak in the vibes of one of the coolest destinations on the planet.
Next we transfer to Paros for two nights where we will stay in a comfortable three-star hotel located in Parikia Town.
Situated in the very heart of the Cyclades group, Paros is a gem and the very archetype of Greek Island life, with a host of features on offer to visitors; a cosmopolitan atmosphere, vibrant nightlife, ancient monuments, monasteries, churches and stunning sandy beaches. It has traditional towns – Parikia and Naousa – each boasting elegant restaurants, quaint taverns, lively bars and cafés. Paros is also a beach bum’s haven, with a multitude of large beaches suitable for relaxing, partying and even windsurfing. On day five, we will gather for a dinner at the Ephesus restaurant located on Livadia Beach.
Did we save the best till last? We’ll let you decide as we spend our final couple of nights on the iconic Greek island of Santorini – the star of the show.
Santorini, also known as Thera, is essentially what remains of an enormous, 16th Century BC volcanic explosion that destroyed the original early settlements on what was formerly a single island and leading to the creation of the current geological caldera.
In a place famous for its breathtaking views and stunning sunsets, it has the five villages of Fira, Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani and Akrotiri which sits atop the caldera and offers spectacular views into the crater that was created by the ancient eruption. What remains is an incredible panorama and a magical setting for hikes, infinity pools, luxury hotels, clifftop wineries, and dreamy sunset dinners.
We will stay in a four-star hotel situated a 10 minute walk from Santorini’s town of Fira. When we arrive, we can relax or join our Tour Leader on a orientation walk around Fira, taking in some of the best views on the island. On day six, we enjoy a group dinner at Ellinikon Restaurant in Fira.
The Cycladic-style Petinos Beach is 200 metres from Mykonos’ Platis Gialos beach.

It takes a pleasant 10 minutes to reach the city centre. Hotel boasts an abundance of areas which have a breathtaking view of the mountains or the sea, allowing the guest to enjoy a lovely sense of serenity and freedom.

There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below.
Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of €20.00 per week. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate add on.
Itinerary is subject to change according to traffic, weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances beyond control.
You must be able to carry your luggage on and off the ferry.
