The four-star Iberostar Waves Las Dalias is a modern hotel offering up all inclusive indulgence in one of Tenerife’s largest and most popular resorts. This area is known for its beaches – a mix of distinctive fine black sand and soft Saharan sand options, many with Blue Flag distinctions. With exciting excursions, from Mount Teide and the stunning Teide National Park, to dolphin spotting boat trips, the south coast of Tenerife is enduringly popular and our all-inclusive trip with your fellow Solos travellers will give you ample opportunities to relax, indulge and sightsee in a sociable group environment.
Sitting a short 10-minute walk from one of the island’s finest beaches, our four-star, all-inclusive hotel is the perfect base for enjoying all that Tenerife has to offer. You won’t go hungry during your stay, with a fantastic main buffet restaurant with live cooking stations, and a range of snacks and appetisers on offer throughout the day. There is also three bars and evening entertainment offering up the likes of bingo, karaoke, live music and quizzes so the days and nights will never be dull.
Two pools, a whirlpool bath, darts, billiards, table tennis and a varied entertainment programme make for active days for those seeking fun. There are also water sports available nearby in Playa de las Americas.
This part of Southern Tenerife is well-known for its beaches. Whilst there are some of the more typical black-sand beaches here, including Playa Fanabe, many of the beaches have been swapped for golden Saharan grains. Playa Troya and Playa Enramada are two of our favourites and have been awarded Blue Flags, so are perfect for swimming and bathing in the calm, walm waters.
For those looking for a bit of culture and history, there are a number of places worth visiting around the resort. The ruins of the Casa Fuerte de Adeje from the 16th century and the Church of St Ursula make for a nice afternoon stroll. There is also an interesting archaeological site called Morro Crueso with rock carvings from the original Berber inhabitants of the Canary Islands.
The Adeje area is home to many hiking trails running from the coast up to the Teide National Park so is perfect for lovers of the outdoors to enjoy their hobbies, whilst also enjoying the relaxation of an all-inclusive beach holiday.
With plenty of activities on offer right on your doorstep, you might not feel the need or desire to venture any further afield. There is however, so much to see on this stunning island. Teide National Park sits just to the north of the resort of Costa Adeje and is home to the third largest volcano in the world, a plethora of wildflowers, and is a must for nature-lovers. With a cable car taking you up to its peak, you can enjoy stunning views across the island and on a clear day you’ll be able to see the other Canary Islands to boot.
If you enjoy a bit of shopping, there are many street markets across the island. Costa Adeje’s street market is held on Thursday and Sunday mornings next to the El Duque shopping centre and is great for souvenirs. For a charming market selling handcrafted goods and textiles, Los Cristianos is worth a visit on a Sunday morning. If you’re a food-lover, then Puerto de la Cruz market is for you, and you will find typical Canarian treats here alongside an array of souvenirs.
Fresh, modern interiors and all-inclusive food and drink in the bustling resort of Costa Adeje are the main draws of our hotel. With shops and bars on your doorstep and beaches a short walk away, you can easily get out and explore all that the resort has to offer.
Main buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with live show cooking, poolside snack bar, three bars including a pool bar, lobby bar and disco bar, two freshwater pools, fitness room and fitness classes, and daily daytime and evening entertainment programmes.
