Arriving at our Bristol hotel at our leisure, we’ll meet for a welcome drink this evening, and enjoy dinner together as a group.
Our guide will meet us at our hotel this morning for a walking tour of Bristol’s historic highlights. We’ll explore sites like the Bridge across the Avon, marking the city’s Saxon origins, and Castle Park, once home to a grand medieval castle. The tour will take us through St. Nicholas Market, showcasing Bristol’s 18th-century architecture from its trading past in tea, sugar, and tobacco.
We’ll also visit the harbour and central Bristol, stopping for refreshments, with views of iconic landmarks like Bristol Cathedral, the Wills Memorial Building, and some of the city’s famous street art, including a Banksy.
This afternoon, we’ll enjoy a unique masterclass in cocktails & magic, where we’ll have the opportunity to make and enjoy three cocktails* and be taught three magic tricks.
We’ll meet our guide today in central Bath. Our walking tour begins at the Royal Crescent, a symbol of 18th-century elegance, and continues through Bath’s stunning Georgian architecture, including the Circus and Queen’s Square. We’ll see the Assembly Rooms (external view only) before heading to Pulteney Bridge, one of the few bridges in the world with shops on both sides. The tour concludes with a visit to the Abbey area, with external views of the Abbey, Roman Baths, and Thermae Spa.
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the group as we all depart at leisure

There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. To give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below.
The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to cover drivers, guides, porters and hotel staff of approximately £25. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip.
