A firm Solos favourite, we are returning to the five-star Cornelia Diamond Golf & Spa for another fantastic week of organised golf on the excellent Nick Faldo and Lykia golf courses.
Extras
A perfect base for our golf week, the superb five-star Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa is well-established as a firm favourite with UK golfers travelling to Turkey, and is regarded as one of the top golf resorts in Belek. We stay on an all-inclusive basis, which means we can make the most of the fantastic facilities on offer and enjoy the service and hospitality for which the hotel is renowned.
The Cornelia Faldo Golf course, designed by Nick Faldo, is carved through a stunning pine forest, with a dramatic ridge of dunes running through the middle. It has all the components for a great round of golf: excellent layout, superb condition and in parts, a real test of golf. True to the Faldo ideal, there are a number of holes that require careful consideration, where the emphasis on course management is clear for all to see.
Faldo Prince – 19-27 & 01-09 holes, 6,324m, Par 72
Faldo Queen – 10-27 holes, 6,411m, Par 72
Faldo King – 01-18 holes, 6,373m, Par 72
Situated a short shuttle ride away from the hotel, the 27-hole Cornelia Golf Club offers the possibility of playing three 9-hole combinations, the Faldo King, Queen and Prince, thus providing three different 18 hole challenges for golfers to tackle.
There is also the Leadbetter Golf Academy onsite, Club House and restaurant.
18 Holes Par 73
Rated as one of the top 100 golf courses in Europe, this spectacular course designed by Perry Dye holds the accolade of the Mediterranean’s only true links golf course. Offering wonderful sea views throughout the round, this stunning course is designed to make full use of the natural seaside landscape where Scottish-style “punch and run” shots are order of the day.

Clients will most probably find that their golf clubs are covered on their household insurance policy. Most policies cover a single item such as golf clubs for a period out of the country. However, clients should make very sure that they do have cover.
We advise you to use a light golf bag when packing your clubs. We suggest you wrap a towel round the neck of the clubs to protect them and stop them rattling around whilst in transit. It is also important to then place the bag and clubs in an outer carrying bag, which can be purchased from any good golf shop. Please contact us for current golf club carriage charges with the airline, starts from £70 return.
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers, and hotel staff of €25.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate add on.
Turkey E-Visa – From 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling for tourism or business purposes will no longer need a visa to enter Turkey for visits of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
The Turkish government advise that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Turkey and that there is a full blank page for the entry and exit stamps
Compulsory vaccinations: None.
All clients are responsible for acquainting themselves with up to date health information of the countries being visited and where necessary take the required precautions.
