City Breaks
Dramatic scenery, history, architecture, culinary treats or simply the opportunity to dip into another country’s culture and customs - whatever your reasons for taking a Short Break they have been designed to allow you to escape for an experience for less than a week. Across Europe and further afield there is plenty to choose from. Popular with Solos travellers, but also great choices for first time Solos customers, we continue to offer trips such as Marrakech and Berlin, along with Rome, which is always a firm favourite. Resting some previously featured breaks has allowed us to bring in some new choices including Spain’s largest sun kissed city, Madrid and the beautiful, medieval city of Bologna. By popular demand we have included breaks to the home of Italian opera, Verona and with the rise in popularity of Croatia, a chance to discover the diversity and culture of its capital of Zagreb. Christmas Markets in Europe have always been a popular choice and our trips to Vienna and Budapest not only give us the chance to buy unique gifts, but to enjoy these cities at this special time of year. So whether it is a new destination or a Solos favourite, the choice is yours.
